L’Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Università Bob Jones (Greenville, Carolina del Sud) è un ensemble studentesco di 65 membri con una lunga e ricca tradizione di presentazione di capolavori orchestrali, oratori, opere, teatro musicale, repertorio sacro e pop sinfonico. Le audizioni sono aperte a tutti gli studenti dell’università, indipendentemente dalla loro specializzazione. The Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra is a 65-member student ensemble with a long and rich tradition of presenting orchestral masterworks, oratorios, operas, musical theatre, sacred, and symphonic pops repertoire. Auditions are open to all students in the university regardless of major. The symphony orchestra is part of The Division of Music at BJU (Greenville, South Carolina), which includes two others orchestras, two bands, five choirs, multiple chamber ensembles, and degree programs in music, music education, ministry, pedagogy, composition, and performance.

Huntingtower is a Christian Science school in Melbourne, Australia. The Music Program at Huntingtower provides the students with musical opportunities that cater for all levels of experience through a diverse offering of ensembles. The students are aged from 13 to 18 years old, and they demonstrate a depth of musical experience and quality of musicianship that extends well above their age group. Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra

Fondata nel 2000 da Salmon Cupid che ne è anche il direttore, la Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra (TASSO) si esibisce nei luoghi di spettacolo più prestigiosi di Toronto. La TASSO è diventata un partecipante fisso agli eventi della comunità, sostenendo molte cause di beneficenza. Nel 2004, la TASSO ha fatto il suo primo viaggio internazionale rappresentando il Canada ad Aberdeen, in Scozia, e poi al festival internazionale di musica giovanile di Sydney, in Australia, dove si è esibita alla Sydney Opera House. Dopo aver effettuato altre tournée in Scozia, in Italia e in Europa centrale, la TASSO si è recata nuovamente a Sydney dove, nel 2017, ha ottenuto la medaglia d’oro in una competizione internazionale. Dopo una tournée in Spagna, nel 2019, la TASSO sarà in tournée in Italia. Since its founding in 2000 by Salmon Cupid, who is also the orchestra conductor, Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra (TASSO) performs at many of Toronto’s most prestigious performing arts venues. TASSO has become a fixture at community events, supporting many charitable causes. In 2004, TASSO made its first international trip representing Canada in Aberdeen, Scotland, then at the international youth music festival in Sydney, Australia, where it performed at the Sydney Opera House. After making other tours in Scotland, in Italy and in Central Europe, TASSO traveled again to Sydney where in 2017 it took the gold medal in international competition. After a tour in Spain, in 2019, TASSO will be touring Italy this year. The band’s repertoire for the 2022/23 season comprises a mixture of Classical, Jazz, Calypso, Contemporary, and Pop genres plus original compositions by band leader and founder, Salmon Cupid.

La Cork Youth Orchestra, fondata nel 1958, è la più antica e numerosa orchestra giovanile d’Irlanda. Cork Youth Orchestra, established in 1958 is Ireland’s oldest and largest youth orchestra. Previous soloists included Sir James Galway, broadway and west end musical stars Colm Wilkinson and Michael McCarthy from ‘Les Miserables’, the lead singers from ‘Phantom of the Opera’, Sofia Escobar and Mike Sterling, and a host of other performers, eg Altan, Seo Linn, True Tides and Cian Ducrot. ‘The Snowman’ has been presented in Cork by the Cork Youth Orchestra since its first Cork performance in 2009. The Orchestra will perform a programme of some of Irelands most famous pieces at this year’s Festival.

La DUSIKA – Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile Danese – è stata fondata a Copenaghen nel 1988 su iniziativa del Consiglio della Contea di Copenaghen. DUSIKA conta circa 65 membri di talento di età compresa tra i 13 e i 25 anni. L’orchestra offre ai giovani musicisti della regione di Copenaghen l’opportunità di beneficiare ad un’istruzione accurata e professionale. DUSIKA tiene circa 6-10 concerti all’anno e visita spesso altri Paesi. Negli ultimi anni la Dusika si è recata nelle Isole Fær Øer, in Francia, Belgio, Paesi Bassi, Polonia, Germania, Russia, Estonia, Scozia e Australia. L’interazione sociale e il buon cameratismo sono una priorità per la DUSIKA e sono, insieme alla musica, le pietre miliari dell’orchestra.
DUSIKA – Danish Youth Symphony Orchestra, was established in Copenhagen in1988 on the initiative of the Countycouncil of Copenhagen. DUSIKA has about 65 talented members in the ages 13 to 25. The orchestra gives young musicians in the Region of Copenhagen an opportunity to be a part of a symphonic orchestra with a thoroughly and professional instruction. DUSIKA gives about 6-10 concerts every year, and frequently visits other countries. In recent years Dusika has been to the Faeroe Islands, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Polen, Germany, Russia, Estonia, Scotland and Australia. Social interaction and good camaraderie are highly prioritized at DUSIKA and are, together with the music, the most important cornerstones of the orchestra.

Da 60 anni, l’Orchestra giovanile di Amersfoort – AJO offre a musicisti di età compresa tra i 14 e i 24 anni un palcoscenico stimolante per sviluppare il proprio talento musicale. I membri dell’orchestra provengono da Amersfoort e dall’area circostante. L’orchestra si trova ogni venerdì sera per suonare insieme ed esegue circa dieci concerti all’anno. Ogni tre anni, l’orchestra si esibisce in una produzione propria di teatro musicale per le scuole elementari. L’orchestra effettua anche tournée all’estero, ha vinto diversi premi e partecipato a numerosi festival nazionali ed europei.
For 60 years, the Amersfoort Youth Orchestra – AJO has offered talented musicians between the ages of 14 and 24 a stimulating stage to develop their musical talents. Orchestra members come from Amersfoort and the surrounding area. Rehearsals are held every Friday evening at St. Francis Xavier Church in Amersfoort. About ten concerts are given each year. Every three years, the orchestra produces its own musical theater production for elementary schools. The orchestra also tours abroad every three years. The orchestra has won awards and participated in numerous national and European festivals.

Il coro femminile dell’Heinrich-Suso-Gymnasium è stato fondato da Michael Auer. Il repertorio comprende un’ampia varietà di stili, da semplici canzoni popolari ad arrangiamenti jazz/pop e opere sofisticate per coro. Il coro ha già effettuato diverse tournée concertistiche, ad esempio ai festival corali di Venezia, ed è parte integrante della vita concertistica dell’Heinrich-Suso-Gymnasium.
Originariamente un ensemble di archi, l’Orchestra Giovanile di Konstanz è stata continuamente ampliata fino a diventare un’orchestra sinfonica dal 1992 e da allora ha suonato in varie formazioni. Gli studenti dell’orchestra suonano dall’età di dodici anni fino al liceo. Vincitrice di diversi premi, l’orchestra è anche membro di “Jeunesse Musicales Deutschland” dal 2006.
The girls’ choir of the Heinrich-Suso-Gymnasium was founded by Michael Auer. The repertoire includes a wide variety of styles, from simple folk songs to jazz/pop arrangements and sophisticated works for choir. The choir has already done various concert tours, e.g. to choir festivals in Venice and is an integral part of concert life at the Heinrich-Suso-Gymnasium.
Originally a string ensemble, the Youth Orchestra Konstanz has been continuously expanded into a symphonic orchestra since 1992, and has since played in various formations. Students in the orchestra play from the age of twelve up to high school. Winner of several awards, the orchestra has also been a member of ‘Jeunesse Musicales Deutschland’ since 2006.

La Koninklijke Fanfare St.-Jozefsgilde di Mol-Sluis è una tipica banda di paese con una ricca storia, fondata nel 1893 come corporazione degli operai della “Molse Zandgroeven”. Dopo un secolo turbolento, i musicisti hanno deciso di puntare nuovamente al successo insieme a una nuova direzione e all’ambizioso direttore Kevin Houben. Grazie a un accurato e instancabile lavoro e impegno dei musicisti, dei direttori e del management, la banda è riuscita a raggiungere il successo, con il primo posto al WMC del 2017 (F3) come punto di forza e ora porta con orgoglio il titolo di vice-campione del mondo nella seconda divisione per Fanfarebands fino al 2026. Attualmente il gruppo conta circa 60 membri attivi ed è diretto da Jef Verheyden.
The Koninklijke Fanfare St.-Jozefsgilde from Mol-Sluis is a typical village band with a rich history. It was founded in 1893 as a guild of the workmen of the “Molse Zandgroeven”. After an eventful century, the musicians decided to aim for success again together with a new management and ambitious conductor Kevin Houben. Thanks to thorough youth work and tireless effort of musicians, conductors, and management they were able to be successful, with the first place at the WMC in 2017 (F3) as the major highlight and now proudly bear the title of Vice-World Champion in the second division for Fanfarebands till 2026. At this moment, the band has around 60 active members and is conducted by Jef Verheyden.

L’orchestra viene fondata nel 2005. Da quasi 18 anni molti adolescenti hanno sperimentato la gioia dell’arte attraverso la pratica musicale e cambiato il loro stile di vita suonando musica classica, jazz, musica da film, opera e musical. L’Orchestra Seo Cho è diretta da Kim Jae Yoon, che si è diplomato in violino e ha studiato direzione d’orchestra al Conservatorio di Praga. Ha vinto diversi premi ed è stato selezionato come nuovo direttore d’orchestra dell’Associazione coreana dei direttori d’orchestra.
Founded in 2005, many teenagers have experienced the joy of art through music and changed their attitude toward life by encountering classical music, jazz, movie music, opera, and musicals through an orchestra for nearly 18 years. The Seo Cho Orchestra is conducted by Kim Jae Yoon, who graduated in violin and studied conducting in the Conservatory of Prague. He won several competition awards and has been selected as a new conductor of the Korean Conductor Association.

Violinos do Moderno è un ensemble di 70 giovani allievi di violino di età compresa tra i 3 e i 20 anni della Scuola di Musica del Colégio Moderno di Lisbona, in Portogallo. Oltre alle tradizionali lezioni individuali di strumento, questi allievi suonano un repertorio ampio e vario che eseguono in diversi concerti durante l’anno. Gli allievi coinvolti in questo progetto si esibiscono in alcune delle sale da concerto più famose del Portogallo, oltre che in diverse tournée e masterclass all’estero. Il loro repertorio comprende brani dal periodo barocco alle opere contemporanee. La direzione artistica di questo ensemble e della Scuola di Musica del Colégio Moderno è affidata alla violinista Inês Saraiva.
Violinos do Moderno is an ensemble of 70 young violin pupils with ages 3 to 20 from the School of Music of the Colégio Moderno, in Lisbon, Portugal. As well as the traditional individual lessons of the instrument, these pupils rehearse a wide and varied repertoire to be performed in several concerts throughout the year. This is how pupils included in this project have come to perform in some of the most iconic concert halls in Portugal, as well as several tours and masterclasses abroad. Their repertoire includes pieces from the baroque period to contemporary works. The artistic direction of this ensemble and of the School of Music of the Colégio Moderno is by violinist Inês Saraiva.

La MYO Mondaino Youth Orchestra è considerata una delle orchestre Jazz giovanili tra le più talentuose in Europa. È nata nel 2011 e diretta dal M° Michele Chiaretti. Ampiamente premiata, in 12 anni ha al suo attivo 2 dischi, 200 concerti e collaborazioni con alcuni dei più importanti musicisti e jazzisti italiani a livello internazionale. La Mondaino Youth Orchestra arriva al FOG con uno spettacolo imperdibile: “MYO vs MYO”. Sul palco 2 Big Band, quasi 40 ragazzi, una vera e propria sfida a colpi di grande musica che vedrà la MYO “sdoppiarsi” per raccontare la storia del jazz.
The MYO Mondaino Youth Orchestra is considered one of the most talented youth jazz orchestras in Europe. It was founded in 2011 and is conducted by Maestro Michele Chiaretti. Widely awarded, in 12 years the MYO has 2 records, 200 concerts and collaborations with some of the most important Italian musicians and jazz musicians at international level to its credit. The Mondaino Youth Orchestra comes to the FOG with an unmissable show: “MYO vs MYO”. On stage 2 Big Bands, almost 40 youngsters, a real challenge to great music that will see MYO “doubling up” to tell the story of jazz.

La Jugendsinfonieorchester (JSO) Crescendo è stata fondata nel 1989 da dodici giovani musicisti e dal direttore Käthi Schmid Lauber. Ha sede a Zurigo, in Svizzera. Da allora, i circa 60 membri dell’orchestra, di età compresa tra i 14 e i 26 anni, fanno musica con gioia, passione ed entusiasmo. La particolarità di quest’orchestra è che si esibisce come coro in tutti i suoi concerti. Il repertorio comprende grandi sinfonie, concerti solistici e musica da film, oltre a canzoni da tutto il mondo. Attraverso esperienze regolari all’estero, i membri dell’orchestra crescono musicalmente e personalmente fino a diventare una straordinaria famiglia musicale!
The Jugendsinfonieorchester (JSO) Crescendo was founded in 1989 by twelve young musicians and the conductor Käthi Schmid Lauber. It is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Since then, the approximately 60 memebers of the orchestra, aged between 14 and 26, have been making music with joy, passion and enthusiasm. La YMCA “Dream” Youth Orchestra nasce a Gwangju in Corea del Sud nel 2008, con l’intento di insegnare ai giovani “armonia e rispetto” attraverso il piacere di suonare insieme, sviluppando cultura, conoscenza e armonia nel gruppo. L’orchestra suona un repertorio vario, dal classico alla musica da film, dalle canzoni per bambini alla musica folcloristica, dando così la possibilità ai giovani musicisti e al pubblico di divertirsi e nello stesso tempo di conoscere la musica. L’orchestra suona regolarmente per i membri del YMCA e fa tournée nel proprio Paese, si esibisce anche in luoghi come ospedali o ospizi, e fa scambi con altri Paesi.
The YMCA “Dream” Orchestra started in Guangju in South Corea in 2008, with the aim to teach to young people “armony and respect” through the pleasure to play together, creating culture, knowledge and armony in the group. The orchestra plays a wide repertoire, from classic to film, from children songs to traditional Corean music, givin the possibility to the young musicians and to the audience to enjoy and to learn music together. The orchestra have regular performances for the YMCA Community and tour in their own Country payng a special attention to places like hospital and hospice, but also has tours abroad.

Fondata nel 1985 a Rennes, l’Orchestre des Jeunes de Haute Bretagne è un’orchestra sinfonica composta da 60 musicisti di età compresa tra i 12 e i 25 anni. L’orchestra è aperta non solo agli studenti del Conservatorio di Musica di Rennes, ma anche a tutte le scuole di musica dell’Alta Bretagna. L’orchestra esegue un vasto repertorio musicale che spazia dalla musica classica e contemporanea alle colonne sonore dei film. L’OJHB presenta ogni anno da 6 a 7 concerti in Francia e organizza ogni anno scambi internazionali con altre orchestre, ensemble musicali o cori. Queste esperienze che arricchiscono musicalmente sono anche umanamente gratificanti. Aprono un mondo di opportunità ai giovani musicisti e ampliano i loro orizzonti culturali.

La Puchheimer Jugendkammerorchester (PJKO), viene fondata nel 1993 a Puchheim, una piccola città vicino a Monaco. L’orchestra è formata da 35 giovani violinisti (intorno ai 17 anni), tutti vincitori del Jugend Musiziert Competition. Negli anni la PJKO ha fatto molti tour in Europa ma anche in Giappone, ed ha partecipato a molte competitions, vincendo diversi primi premi, tra i quali l’European Youth Music Festival in Belgio, il German Orchestra Competition in Germania, e il Summa Cum Laude Festival in Austria. Inoltre, il contributo della PJKO ad arricchire la scena culturale locale e il suo impegno sociale sono riconosciuti. Per la PJKO è molto importante avere scambi e collaborazioni con altre orchestre e cori internazionali e non, oltre che a impegnarsi socialmente e ad arricchire la scena culturale locale.
The Puchheimer Jugendkammerorchester (PJKO) was founded in 1993 in Puchheim, a small town west of Munich (Germany). It is a youth orchestra of 35 string players (average age 17), all prizewinners in the German “Jugend Musiziert” competition. Over the years, the PJKO has taken tours in Europe but also in Japan, and has participated in many competitions, winning several first prizes, including the European Youth Music Festival in Belgium, the German Orchestra Competition in Germany, and the Summa Cum Laude Festival in Austria. It is crucial for PJKO to have exchanges and collaborations with other orchestras and choirs. Moreover, its contribution to enriching the local cultural scene and its social commitment are widly recognised.
