Cofounder and Artistic Director

Andrea Cavallari studied piano and composition. After graduating from the Music Conservatory he attended courses in composition in London. His music has been played in Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Poland, Spain, Purtugal, Japan and the United States as well as in major events such as the “Festival dei Due Mondi” at Spoleto, “Documenta” at Kassel, “Festival Ninety-seven” at Cincinnati, Ohio, “Jornadas de Musica del Siglo XX” at Segovia, and the Royal Festival Hall in London. His music has been recorded by Rivoalto (Italy) and Capstone (New York). in 1999 he was Artistic Director of the Festival Estate Fiesolana in Florence. At present he lives and works between Florence and London where he is Artistic Director for the festival FIRENZE SUONA CONTEMPORANEA and co-artistic director for the festival LONDON EAR. Graham Lea-Cox

Graham Lea-Cox

Guest Artistic Director 2022

Born in Zimbabwe, Conductor Graham Lea-Cox has had an eclectic career as a conductor of orchestra, opera, music for theater, film and television in the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, Mexico and Africa. His professional career began as conductor and Artistic Director of musical ensembles in Texas and California, touring the United States of America for Columbia Artists, New York, and to China and Japan.  Since then and based in Europe, his international conducting career has had a special focus on repertoires from the 18th to the 20th century and the musical repertoire of Latin America and Africa. He will be Guest Artistic Director for the 2022 festival edition

Ilaria Ippoliti

Ilaria Ippoliti

Production and Administration

She studied Foreign languages and literatures at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of Florence. Following periods of study and work in Germany, Spain, Russia and India she returned to Florence and started a collaboration with Accademia San Felice as tour manager for youth orchestras performing in Italy. She’s working as Production Assistant and Administrator for FOG, taking care of all the festival management, from financial to logistic of concert tours. She studied piano, singing and percussion.

Veronica Del Signore

Veronica Del Signore

Cofounder, President and Production Manager

After a degree in Textile Design at the Istituto Statale d‘Arte of Florence, Veronica opened and managed a textile studio for 14 years. In 1995 she moved to London and started with Andrea Cavallari the Company Accademia San Felice, working in music between Florence and England for many years. In 1999 she founded the International Festival of Youth Orchestras in Florence together with Andrea Cavallari and since 2016 she’s the President of FOG and the Production Manager for the festival. She keeps working with enthusiasm and care on her two great passions, Music and Textile.
