Cofounder and Artistic Director

Andrea Cavallari studied piano and composition. After graduating from the Music Conservatory he attended courses in composition in London. His music has been played in Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Poland, Spain, Purtugal, Japan and the United States as well as in major events such as the “Festival dei Due Mondi” at Spoleto, “Documenta” at Kassel, “Festival Ninety-seven” at Cincinnati, Ohio, “Jornadas de Musica del Siglo XX” at Segovia, and the Royal Festival Hall in London. His music has been recorded by Rivoalto (Italy) and Capstone (New York). in 1999 he was Artistic Director of the Festival Estate Fiesolana in Florence. At present he lives and works between Florence and London where he is Artistic Director for the festival FIRENZE SUONA CONTEMPORANEA and co-artistic director for the festival LONDON EAR. Veronica Del Signore

Veronica Del Signore

Cofounder, President and Production Manager

After a degree in Textile Design at the Istituto Statale d‘Arte of Florence, Veronica opened and managed a textile studio for 14 years. In 1995 she moved to London and started with Andrea Cavallari the Company Accademia San Felice, working in music between Florence and England for many years. In 1999 she founded the International Festival of Youth Orchestras in Florence together with Andrea Cavallari and since 2016 she’s the President of FOG and the Production Manager for the festival. She keeps working with enthusiasm and care on her two great passions, Music and Textile.

Odessa Mourier

Production Assistant

Odessa studied art history and archaeology in France before broadening her professional horizons to cultural management in the fields of music and cinema. In 2022 she moved to Italy and joined FOG as a production assistant. Here she combines two of her interests: the performing arts and Italian cultural heritage.
